Haar & Huis is a hair salon situated in the heart of Tilburg, where natural hair along with personal attention and honest advise are very important issues to the owner Jamie Ellison.
The salon was founded in 2017 by Jamie, a hairdresser with many years of expersience and a passion for peolpe and hair. It started as a small scale project, working in the garage of the family home, and grew into an atmospheric salon where quality and tranquillity go hand in hand.
From garage to established salon in Tilburg
After spending several years at home bringing up her family, Jamie realised that she missed the connection withother people and made the decision to return to her previous profession. She started small, working in the family garage and soon realised that her previous ambition were aroused, she'd loved the feeling of making a difference for people,creating beautiful hairstyles. As time progresses, and the number of clients increased, she soon realsed that expansion was necessary. Today, Haar & huis is situated in a stylish spot in the centre of Tilburg, the salon is designed with pease, tranuillity and comfort in mind. Jamie soon realised thst the environment also played an important part, and began turning to Vegan and Natural products that were less damaging to the hair and contained fewer chemicals. These important aspects along with professional advise and the opporttunity to buy good products make the salon the success story that it is today.Driven by knowledge and personal growth
Jamie continues to educate herself bij following many workshops, especially at the " Hair academy by Suzanne Slegers. Learning new cutting techniques and colour trends.
One such workshop involved learning how to cut natural curls without disturbing its natural structure. You can see that expertise in the results.

This being the reason that Jamie works exclusively with vegan and natural products, free from harsh chemicals and respectfull of the natural balance of hair and scalp.
